How random tools help you decide
Most everyday decisions do not have a right answer, only several equally good ones: who goes first, which film to watch, who gets the last slice. Thinking it over costs more than the choice is worth. A random tool settles it in a second, and everyone can see that nobody tipped the scales.
Why a digital tool? A physical coin can be weighted, dice can be uneven, and names drawn from a hat can be peeked at. Randomfella picks every result with your browser’s secure random number generator, before any animation plays, so the spin, flip or roll only shows a result that is already fixed. You can also do things a hat cannot: take winners off the wheel so nobody is drawn twice, give some entries better odds, flip many coins at once, or look back over your history of rolls.
When to use it, and when not to. Random choice is fair when the options are genuinely equal and you simply need to choose, share turns or break a tie. It is the wrong tool for decisions that depend on merit, or for medical, legal, financial or safety choices. Use it to take the stress out of small decisions, and keep your own judgment for the big ones.

Questions
Are Randomfella’s tools free?
Yes. Every tool is free to use as often as you like, with no account and no sign-up.
Are the results really random?
Yes. Each result comes from your browser’s secure random number generator (the Web Crypto API), the same source browsers use for encryption, not the weaker Math.random() that many simple tools use. The result is decided before any animation starts, so the animation can never change it.
Is my information stored or shared?
Your entries, history and settings stay on your own device. The site only counts anonymous things such as page visits and button presses, never what you type.
Do the tools work on a phone?
Yes. They are designed for phones first and work in any modern browser on a phone, tablet or computer. The tools are available in English, Spanish, French and Arabic.
Will there be more tools?
Yes. New random tools are added over time, and each one gets its own page linked from here.
